November 1989, the fall of the Berlin Wall will forever remain a major date and event in our history. In 1988, curious to understand the reason for this border, Patrick Tourneboeuf made his first initiatory journey, wandering from East to West, on both sides of this concrete boundary.
In 1990, 2003 and 2004 he returned to these traces with this systematic search for the slightest clue of what the wall of shame was, which had become a mausoleum of memory. In Berlin, faced with a feature of history that, through its mutation and its patina, we no longer see, the memory remains present through a few stigmata and other imprints. Time passes, history is written, Berlin remains.
