Description

Falling Bird is a drawing by Paul Klee (1879-1940) from 1919. Ross Bleckner (born in 1949) painted a series of falling birds in the 1990s. This bird is a Sétois bird that I photographed in 2022. Maybe a seagull or a gabian. I was thinking about the news of the world, the wars, the incredible speeches broadcast, the destruction, the crazy, murderous ambitions, the senseless. The world seemed to me to be going backwards. Without losing hope, I hoped that this fall would stop and that the bird would calmly resume its flight.
